A maquette made for a life-size mustang commission for the McLean School in Potomac, Maryland. Amica is meant to embody lively spirit, heartiness, and the school’s values of resourcefulness, independence, and caring relationships. Rather than portraying a high energy, rearing horse, I created a pose that aims to welcome students and families.
